–There was quite a bit of probing, as expected, on the experiences within consulting which I highlighted on my resume. They wanted to know exactly what was accomplished. This was a little difficult as my previous clients are quite clear that everything I did for them was confidential and I wanted to be certain I respected that confidentiality. Fortunately, they understood the confidentiality and modified their questioning accordingly.

–And of course, they kept asking me if I was okay with traveling during the week. This was repeated by everyone I interviewed with at the firm.

–”Tell me about a time you had to teach somebody something and were met with challenges.” This turned into a cascade of questions asking to detail the challenges and how I approached each one.

–The case studies were tough. Be sure to really practice case interviews and understand the process of going thru a problem. Biz requirements, function requirments, gap analysis, implementation. etc.
–No technical questions
–Tell us a time where you faced a difficult situation and how did you handle it?
–There aren’t any. It is a superficial process and they are covertly assessing you. The questions themselves are from any book.
–I was unprepared for the case study question asked in Round 2
–Tell me about a time when you had a boss who made a decision with which you disagreed.
–None of the questions asked were really difficult, but I was expecting them.

–You have $10 million dollars in expenses. You’re halfway into a project and the profit margin decreases 5%. What are some managerial actions you would take to remedy the project?

–I wouldn’t say there was 1 really profoundly difficult question, but the process itself – asking questions that might cause you to make a contradiction in your reasons for interviewing with Accenture, was stressful. View Answers (2)
–Questions were not difficult as such. I will definitely say know your CV really well. Be specific in your answers.
–All of the empathy and more intelligence questions were unexpected. I had never encountered those type of questions before in any interview.

–There wasn’t any trick question. Common programming questions. Overloading and overriding. OOP concepts (Polymorphism, abstract and interface) and Design Patterns.

–Nothing difficult. There were no case questions or technical questions.
–Nothing stands out, it was very collegial and, basically, a formality.

–There were no difficult questions. Most of them were about my experiences and how I dealt with difficult situations.
–The questions are not difficult. Most of them are behavioral questions. They want to see if you are fix for their company.

–Don’t quite remember exact questions. They are all behavioral based, no case questions. The second interviewer asked me a lot of questions about the experience on my resume.

–The interviewer may ask technical questions. My recommendation is to answer honestly but demonstrating your capability to learn and adapt to new environment, which is the ground for all business consulting
–I’m a good interviewer, but I found the questions to be common sense. Just be prepared and sell yourself. They are looking for confidant, sharp people that will conform to their standards.

–The questioned concerned what laws/regulations from outside the U.S. applied to a given scenario, and based on those applicable laws/regulations what provisions/clauses needed to be included in a contract of a certain type.

–was not difficult or unexpected question…she (the interviewer) just did not seem interested and was staring at her computer screen typing vigorously and kept using her phone all the time. It was a market entry case for a banking mobile app in the developing country.

–The 2nd round was the most difficult. Bring your A game and expect to be thinking on your toes.

–Say you have committed to a friend to finish a project on a particular date and to a manager on a particular date. You did not have time to finish both the project and the deadline is tomorrow. Both of them are at your desk asking for the report/project. How will you deal such as a case ?

I think I was asked 5 or 6 follow up questions about some relatively simple situations. It seemed like the interviewer was pushing me for unnecessary details just to see how I reacted under pressure.

Cases weren’t difficult, although partner expected considerable finesse in case study method rather than excellence in business insight.
Considerable annoyance at proceeding to offer then withdrawing due to hiring freezes, especially following a confusing recruitment process.
HR very good at trying to keep me interested in joining subject to changing business conditions for 6 months thereafter, but the managing partner that this role supposedly was his 2IC, couldn’t have cared less – returned no calls, emails and didn’t deliver on any promises.

On following up (again) this year everyone at Accenture had lost interest. Given this was a 10 month process, this shows that Accenture are a difficult and confusing company to interview for, who don’t appear to know what they’re doing (marketing promoting referral entry points when demand is slowing,convoluted interviewing processes made-up-as-they-went where 7 interviews were required), really string you along and waste your time.
